Clockworks Server reads playback data out of your DJ software and streams it over CLX to Clockworks Viewer. This guide takes you from a clean machine to confirmed data arriving in Viewer.

Before you begin

Each of these will stop you mid-install if it isn't ready.

• [ ] Your license.key file, emailed at purchase. Server will not launch without it.
• [ ] Admin rights on the machine running your DJ software
• [ ] The IP of the machine running Viewer — not the IP of this machine
• [ ] Both machines routable to each other, UDP 3650 unblocked
• [ ] Confirmed which variant you need (Step 1) </aside>

Step 1 — Confirm your variant

Server ships in two variants. The pairing with Viewer is fixed — they are not interchangeable.

Lite does not work with Viewer Pro. Check which Viewer licence you hold before you download. Mismatched pairs fail silently, with no data in Viewer.

Step 2 — Download the installer
